Child Development Book Club for Parents

Coming Soon!

An experienced educator (and mother) will support you in your understandings of the readings. The Monthly Montessori Book Club will begin soon and offers parents a chance to gain deeper knowledge on their own child's development through a Montessori approach. Our readings and discussions will centre around children in regards to how to develop their independence, importance of socialisation, how to implement freedom & discipline, what is imagination,  how to praise to support their moral development, preparing the home environment (including practical activities) and we can also look at supporting your child's curriculum areas in language and maths. Parents of children aged from 3 to 12 years will gain the most benefit but the Montessori approach can be applied to any age group. Please email montessoriprogress@gmail.com to recieve your readings. Come with a few questions or discussion points.

Accompanying the book is a Parent Resource booklet, and classified cards of the plants. Additionally, to boost children’s reading ability, cards of the words used in the book are supplied, divided into difficulty level, with the aim to support the child with Total Reading.
